Density matters

Any experienced textile designer will tell you, that fabric is much more than a sequence of black and white dots on the weave, indicating thread lifting. The true fabric aspect depends even more on the warp and weft density, yarn count and respective yarn diameter. An even more puzzling question is what makes a multiple layer weave? Again, it is a question of weave and density. If weave is designed in a special way and density is correct, threads will move in the direction of lower tension. With a simulation from ArahWeave, you will not be in doubt.
