We have included considerable number of examples; load them and switch to best view to check the quality of our simulation. If you are a student, and cannot afford to buy our programs: We hope you appreciate, that you can print from our programs, and you can actually use them productively in your school work, even with save disabled. On the other hand, anyone running a serious business will find our pricing very competitive.

The purpose of these limitations is to allow you a reasonably complete evaluation of Arahne's products. We also want to allow students do their small projects, but prevent industrial use - we depend on the sales to industrial customers.
Please do not despair, if you can not find, what you are looking for, in the first 5 minutes. We have invested 17 years in development of this product, and in the course of time, it has become quite powerful, since it serves the needs of many different clients. But the power comes with the price of complexity. Persons skilled in both weaving and computers are quite rare, so a normal user can expect to spend some time learning how to use this program. Do not expect to find the final answer to what this program can do in the demo. The purpose of the demo is to give you a general idea of the quality of the product. We are offering on-site training and extensive support, so any problems or questions are usually resolved with the help of Arahne's skilled staff.
There is no fancy license agreement for this program. Install it at your own risk, and we hope you will find it informative.

Please note, that the above software runs only on Linux. Sorry, we do not have a Windows or Mac version of this software. Mac version is planned for mid 2010, while Windows version is not foreseen. At the moment, we prefer improving our software, instead of wasting our time in porting it to other platforms. The design computer will most likely be dedicated to CAD in any company. So it really does not matter on which operating system does it work, as long as it is reliable and the hardware and the operating system are not too expensive. Linux excels at these points. And if you still want to use some Windows applications, you can have a dual-boot system and use them in turns. If you dislike time spent in rebooting the computers to use the other operating system, you can also use VMWARE or VirtualPC or XEN to install one operating system within a different system. Owners of Macintosh computers can use Parallels to install Linux and use ArahWeave within their beloved Mac. In this way, you can use both operating systems contemporary, you just need more disk space and memory. Computer disk space and memory are cheap, while your time is precious. It looks like an easy choice.
