Printer stops responding

If you cancel print job during printing, or for some reason (printer cable disconnected, power failure, etc.) printer stops printing. Then you delete the failed print jobs, power the printer off and on, even restart the computer, but printer still won't print. In this case, printer was disabled because of error during printing, and you have to edit the printer configuration, to enable it back. You need root (administrator) permissions for this operation.
To check the printer status, click icon on the Desktop. This will open Print Job Viewer. Choose Filter > Select Printer. If you printer with red cross icon close to your printer model name, then your printer is disabled and you need to edit printer configuration.
