Printer configuration on OpenSUSE

Installing new printer driver (Gutenprint)

High quality printing on Linux is handled by Gutenprint, a package of open source printer drivers. Unfortunately, the version of Gutenprint included on OpenSUSE is always outdated, so you have to install the newest Gutenprint package. Download gutenprint 5.2.5, and copy the file openprinting-gutenprint-5.2.5-1lsb3.2.i486.rpm to the Desktop.
