New ArahWeave video tutorial: Jacquard shading

Arahne began developing shading as early as 1996, initially using a black and white warp combined with six colors in the weft. By 2003, we expanded our approach to tapestry construction, using six colors in the warp and three in the weft. A decade later, in 2013, we advanced shading techniques further by using a single warp and three or four wefts, applying color separation and grayscale shading inspired by the work of professor Ken Ri Kim. Today, we made color shading independent of the weave construction—if you understand how to construct a weave, you can create your own color shading.

In this video tutorial, we are using one white yarn in the warp and four weft yarns in cyan, magenta, yellow, and black colors, a satin weave and a true-color image (24-bit). The tutorial showcases how quickly and effortlessly a jacquard fabric and its weave can be created in ArahWeave.
