Embed images in ArahWeave HTML fabric data file
ArahWeave stores fabric technical data in HTML format, along with images such as the customer’s logo, fabric simulations, and weave. However, when sharing or copying the HTML file, the associated image files must also be included in the same directory; otherwise, they will not display.
We’ve now introduced two new options for saving HTML:
- choose WebP format for fabric simulations – offering smaller, cleaner files compared to JPEG.
- Embedded images in HTML – allowing all content to be contained in a single file, making it easier to share without worrying about missing images.
Previously, embedding was only possible by saving as PDF. But PDFs enforce A4 pagination, while pure HTML adapts flexibly to width and can be printed in any format. HTML files are also lighter than PDFs and more convenient for editing or copying into word processors or emails, since tables transfer correctly.
